Health & Wellness Policy

The SCS School Health and Wellness Committee is dedicated to fostering lifelong healthy eating and exercise habits among our faculty and students. We warmly invite families to join this initiative and support their children in embracing a healthier lifestyle. Each week, our Homenotes will feature a Health & Wellness section filled with engaging activities for you and your child to enjoy together. Let’s unite in this effort to get healthy and make wellness a family affair!

If you would like to help us out in planning our children’s healthier year, by participating in this year’s Wellness Committee, please contact:

The Bible verse 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 states that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and that we should honor God with our bodies.

Christians believe that the body is a sacred space where God lives. The Lord calls our bodies temples of God because they are holy and important, and He wants us to take good care of them.

Some ways to care for your body as the temple of God include: Getting enough sleep, Eating well, Exercising regularly, Managing stress, and Taking care of your mental health.
